I receive some mail from member who complaint the upload function does not work! I found that the real problem is because the configuration is not set correctly. Here are some simple steps to make it works:
First user need to know where to save the link pages. Is it in web site root folder? Or is in a subfolder? To make it simple and make sure it work first, please follow the steps below. Once user able to make it run, then user can enhance it later.
Please login to autolinkmanager account->Configuration & setting Pages
- On "Link page's template layout", click on "restore default" to use system template.
- On "Pre-define link URL name", user may enter "resources_"
- On "Template root directory", user may enter "/" (since we want to store it in website root folder)
- On "FTP template path", please leave this field empty since we do not upload to sub folder.
- Save all theses setting and go to "Upload & Publish Links"
- Test to upload directory page by click on "upload directory page" button.
- If your password is correct you should able to view the directory link pages at "http://www.yourdomainname.com/resources_Directory.htm"
- If this successful, then you may continue to select and upload others categories' link pages by click on "Publish & upload now" button.
To learn more on how to set the setting, please visit "
How to configure AutoLinkManager?"
Once all the setting is correct, link exchange process can be done via a single click button.
